June 1 (Sunday) 

Wreath Presentation Ceremony

 

The ceremony is dedicated to those who have sacrificed their lives for democracy in China. Bouquets and wreaths will be presented. 

Time:   10:00 am

Place:  Forest Lawn Memorial Park (3789 Royal Oak Ave. / Canada Way, Burnaby)

June 4 (Wednesday) ---- Democracy Walk

A march will be held to reiterate our pleas that the dissidents should be released; the pro-democracy movement of 1989 should be vindicated; those who ordered the massacre should be held accountable; the one-party dictatorship should be ended; and democracy be realized in China.
Time:   7:00 pm
Place:  Gather at the corner of Granville St. / West 6th Ave., Vancouver, and walk along Granville St.

June 4 (Wednesday) ---- Candlelight Vigil

The candlelight vigil will be held to commemorate those who were killed in the June 4th Massacre in China and express our eagerness for democracy, freedom, human rights and rule of law.
Time:   8:00 p.m.

Place:  3380 Granville St. / West 16th Ave., Vancouver (in front of the Chinese Consulate)
